Statement

Laser is not a treatment.
It is a clinical protocol —
read the skin, calibrate, repeat in cycles.

At Mili Clinic Sinchon, hair removal is medical, not cosmetic. The skin is read before the energy is set. Wavelength, pulse duration, and fluence — calibrated to your skin type, hair density, and growth cycle.

Every session is supervised by the attending physician, and every protocol is built around the cycles your hair actually follows — not a fixed calendar.

Five principles

Why laser,
done at Mili.

Hair removal is a precise medical procedure — not a routine cosmetic service. Five principles guide every laser protocol at Mili Clinic Sinchon.

— 01 / 05

Skin read first.

Asian skin requires different settings than the studies most lasers are calibrated for. We measure your skin tone, hair density, and follicle depth before the first pulse — no factory presets.

— 02 / 05

Wavelength
that matches.

Diode for body, Alexandrite for fine hair, Nd:YAG for darker skin. The right wavelength reaches the follicle without burning the skin around it. The wrong wavelength means wasted shots and added risk.

— 03 / 05

Doctor-supervised,
every cycle.

Settings are set by the physician for every session. Trained staff perform the treatment under direct supervision — your skin's response is reviewed and recalibrated every visit.

— 04 / 05

Cycles, not
calendar.

Hair grows in three phases — and only one is responsive to laser. We schedule around your follicle cycles, not a fixed "every 4 weeks" template. Faster results, fewer wasted sessions.

— 05 / 05

Skin stays
untouched.

Done right, laser hair removal leaves the skin exactly as it was — minus the hair. No burns, no pigmentation, no scarring. The goal is invisible removal, not visible aftermath.

The Mili Protocol
Three steps · One doctor

How a laser
session unfolds.

Every skin is read before the laser is calibrated. Every cycle is planned to follow your hair's natural growth phases. Three steps, every time — from the first reading to the last pulse.

Step 01 / 03 15 – 20 min

Skin reading
& calibration.

We measure your skin's melanin level, hair density, and follicle depth. Based on this, the laser's wavelength, fluence, and pulse duration are set specifically for you — never a default preset.

Skin analysis · Laser calibration · 10–15 minutes
Step 02 / 03 Custom layering

Cycle
planning.

Hair grows in three phases — only one responds to laser. The doctor maps your hair cycles and schedules sessions to catch each follicle in its active phase. The right timing makes 8 sessions feel like 12.

Follicle mapping · Cycle calendar · Session scheduling
Step 03 / 03 40 – 80 min

Supervised
treatment.

Trained laser specialists deliver the session under direct physician supervision. Settings are reviewed every visit — your skin's response, hair regrowth pattern, and any sensitivity are reassessed before each cycle.

FAQ
Five questions

Answered
plainly.

Five common questions about laser hair removal at Mili Clinic Sinchon. More specific concerns are best addressed during consultation.

Most areas reach near-permanent reduction in 6–10 sessions. Body areas (legs, underarms, bikini) typically need fewer; facial hair often needs more. Your hair cycle, density, and color determine the exact number — assessed at consultation.
Mild redness or warmth for 1–4 hours after treatment. Some areas (face, bikini) may show slight bumps around follicles that fade within a day. You can return to work immediately. Avoid hot showers, saunas, and direct sun for 24 hours.
Treated hairs shed within 1–3 weeks. Visible reduction begins after 2–3 sessions. Significant reduction by session 5–6. Most patients reach their target reduction at sessions 8–10, with annual maintenance after.
Modern lasers with cooling systems make most sessions tolerable — a brief warm snap with each pulse. Sensitive areas (upper lip, bikini line) feel sharper. Topical numbing cream is available on request. We adjust intensity throughout based on your tolerance.
Initial course: every 4–6 weeks for body areas, every 3–4 weeks for face. After reaching target reduction, annual maintenance is usually enough. Spacing is set by your hair's actual growth cycle, not a fixed template.
